Administration:
Video Equipment
The lab has several video cameras (VHS, 8mm
and DV) and complete VHS and digital video editing systems. We have
used the equipment
to produce videos about our study-abroad programs, our language plays,
the annual language fair, to tape visiting lecturers and to evaluate
students
who will be going into teaching. The lab also has professional
quality
video standards converters and multistandard players which allows us to
work with materials which have different television standards and
to convert tapes and DVDs
made in other countries. Our eMacs and Macintosh G3 computers provide
the
capability of digitizing video signals and saving them on the computer
for use in various projects.

video-materials for previewing for a maximum
of one week unless another faculty member needs the video. All other equipment (Laptops, MacMobile, etc.) needs
to be returned back to the lab promptly at the end of the check-out
period.
Equipment can be reserved by filling out the form (available
